PAN STUDIO officially unveiled the details of the 1.4 update, 'Galloping Stars,' for their fantasy RPG Duet Night Abyss on the 26th via an official broadcast. This 1.4 version is the largest update since its launch and will be rolled out sequentially, with the first half on June 2nd and the second half on June 30th.

The first half of the update will introduce a new main story and a new region, 'Bloomfield Station.' Set against the backdrop of Ice Lake City, this story features new allies and the 'Forsaken Alliance' aboard a train transporting a crucial prisoner, culminating in a battle against the new boss, 'Aurora's Main Turret.' Additionally, a new character, 'Flora,' and the dark-attribute protagonist, 'Moonstone Hunter,' will be added. Flora showcases a unique combat style, transforming enemies into 'Ballroom Dolls' using close-range critical hits, while the Moonstone Hunter awakens their dark-attribute form through story progression and can freely switch attributes in the preparation screen.

Alongside this, four new weapons, a weapon enhancement system called 'Disaster Weapons,' a permanent high-difficulty content 'Deep Exploration,' and a guild system will be introduced. Disaster Weapons are a new enhancement system that bestows exclusive skills upon weapons, and Deep Exploration is a high-difficulty content where materials for Disaster Weapon enhancement are obtained. The guild system will offer various social features, including dedicated chat, daily and weekly quests, and a guild shop.

The second half of the update will see the addition of a new fire-attribute character, 'Hilda.' Hilda is set as Flora's dedicated maid and most trusted bodyguard. In combat, she provides a fast-paced combat experience through rapid-fire attacks using a 'vacuum cleaner,' area-of-effect fire damage, enemy disarming, and enhanced evasion-linked attacks. The latter half will also sequentially introduce new appearance content, including the nun-suit-based themed costume 'Holy 7-Day Promise,' and additional events such as 'A Peaceful Day.' Furthermore, on July 15th, a new difficulty level 4 will be added to the competitive content 'Towards the Summit,' offering exclusive profile and title rewards.

Accompanying this 1.4 version update is the largest-ever benefit package. Upon logging in after the update, players will immediately receive one Character Selection Box and one Weapon Selection Box. By participating in events, players can acquire a variety of rewards, including 27 Brilliant Hourglasses, 3,600 Moonstones, one Character Selection Ticket, the designated character appearance 'Black Whispers,' and the theme costume package 'Time Selection Costume Package.'
