WEBZEN's mobile MMORPG, MU Monarch 2, is set to receive a significant update introducing a brand-new class: the Growlancer.

The Growlancer wields a spear and shield as its primary weapons, capable of switching stances to temporarily boost attack power and damage reduction. It also unleashes skills that become more potent when surrounded by enemies. Beyond the new class, the update bolsters the game's progression systems with features like Horn Pipes, Flags, and enhanced Set Equipment options. Players can further empower these new elements using the 'Purification Gem,' obtainable through in-game hunting.

To celebrate the update, a variety of in-game events are also launching. New character growth will be incentivised with level-based rewards for those building Growlancers. Simultaneously, returning players will find support events designed to help them re-acclimate to the game. All users can participate in daily quest events for rewards and a special Growlancer Abyss Ranking event.
