Nexon announced on the 27th that it has launched a large-scale update to commemorate the 4.5th anniversary of Blue Archive. This update introduces Chapter 3 of the main story, 'The Sky of Unification', from the Decagrammaton arc, along with three new characters and various commemorative events. Notably, three students from the Millennium Science School are making their debut with an armored concept, drawing significant attention.

First, the new character Himari (Armored), head of the Special Operations Unit, is a Pierce-type Tactical Supporter. Her EX skill provides healing effects to allies within a certain range, supporting stable combat. Rio (Armored) is an Explosive-type dealer who can inflict powerful damage on a single enemy with her EX skill. Toki (Armored), a Pierce-type Supporter, can be obtained by defeating the boss Bina in the Joint Operation: Steel Continent Offensive.

Additionally, the main story EX, Chapter 3 'The Sky of Unification' of the Decagrammaton arc, has been updated. This story features students from the Game Development Department and the Special Operations Unit of Millennium Science School, including Kay, Rio, and Aris, as protagonists. Players can witness the students' journey to prevent the end of Kivotos against the Decagrammaton forces of the Steel Continent.

Until June 9th, a limited-time World Raid content, 'Joint Operation: Steel Continent Offensive', will also be available. This content, which all players can participate in together, features a total of eight bosses, including Bina, Hessed, Geburah, and Yesod, appearing sequentially. Players can enter using Joint Operation Tickets. Some bosses possess global skills that enhance the stats of nearby monsters, offering strategic combat fun. Completing the final battle that appears after defeating a boss will reward players with various items such as Toki (Armored), a 1x Recruitment Ticket, and Pyroxene.

To commemorate this update, Nexon is holding events that offer abundant rewards. Until June 9th, a free 100-pull event is available to obtain new characters like Rio (Armored) and Himari (Armored). Furthermore, through the 'Steel Continent Offensive Begins! Arona's Supply Support Event' until June 18th, players who simply log in will receive rewards such as top-tier Activity Reports and a 10-pull Recruitment Ticket.

Meanwhile, Nexon is also demonstrating Blue Archive's positive influence through two blood donation campaigns with the Korean Red Cross in 2026. The first campaign, which began on the 26th, offers a power bank featuring Blue Archive character illustrations to 4,000 participants who donate blood at one of the 89 designated blood donation centers nationwide and choose a collaboration merchandise. The second campaign, starting in August, will provide special commemorative gifts featuring Blue Archive's key visual to those who donate blood at blood donation centers across the country.
