SNK has announced that Mr. Karate, a Season 2 DLC character for their fighting game *Garou: Mark of the Wolves*, is now available for distribution starting today. The enigmatic fighter, clad in a Tengu mask, makes his grand entrance into South Town, ready to throw down.

Mr. Karate first appeared as the final boss in the 1992 release of *Art of Fighting*. It was later revealed that his true identity was Takuma Sakazaki, an undefeated martial artist and the founder of the Kyokugenryu Karate style. Fast forward to 1999's *Garou: Wild Ambition*, where Ryo Sakazaki took up the mantle as the second Mr. Karate. This latest iteration marks the third appearance of Mr. Karate in the *Garou* series.

This iteration of Mr. Karate wields the formidable Kyokugenryu Karate style, though specifics about his moveset remain under wraps for now. Classic systems from *Art of Fighting*, such as 'Ki Charge' and 'Taunt', have been integrated into this character, promising a more potent and refined experience. Whispers suggest his skills surpass even the current Grand Master, Marco Rodriguez, with those who have faced him remarking, "He was a tiger."

Accompanying Mr. Karate's arrival are new additions to 'Arcade Mode' and 'EOST Mode', allowing players to dive into his original storyline. In the RPG-style EOST Mode, Mr. Karate roams the streets of South Town alongside specific characters, seeking out true martial prowess. Meanwhile, Arcade Mode sees him embarking on a perilous quest to uncover a secret ultimate technique passed down through a martial arts lineage, confronting the 'Hungry Wolves' in a battle of epic proportions.
