Welcome to the final Meca Ranking for 'Vampir' in May. On May 13, the devs rolled out some class balancing alongside a class change ticket. The Grim Reaper has been making the most of this, carving out space for itself and popping up in the Top 3 most popular classes across various servers. It isn't exactly an overnight sensation, but it’s no longer trailing behind, and it’s started to keep pace with the other meta-heavy classes. Rome wasn't built in a day, right?

Looking at the server-specific popularity charts, Viper is the one making moves. In the eight servers where rankings shifted this week, five of them involved Viper. Servers like Shima 1, Moarte 3, and Razvi 2 saw it share the top spot. It feels less like a runaway success and more like a scrappy contender, fighting tooth and nail to climb or hold onto its rank.

Of course, it hasn't been a wrestling match in every single server. In the Kaf servers, it gained a 4% point share in both 1 and 3, steadily creeping up. In Kaf 1, Grim Reaper even managed to hit 3rd place, shoving the former runner-up, Carnage, out of the way. Meanwhile, Akasha has broken into the Top 3 for Shima 3 and Duncan 3. It seems a wider variety of classes are finally clawing their way to the top.

Overall Class Share

As we saw in the first chart, both Viper and Grim Reaper have expanded their overall share. However, the gains are quite slim—0.3% and 0.1% points respectively. Even Akasha, which seemed to be doing well on specific servers, is showing a net loss. The answer lies in the shrinking shares of Bloodstain and Carnage. Because their numbers dropped, the gains for others look bigger than they actually are. Besides, overall share and server-specific rankings use different metrics, so these discrepancies are to be expected. You can thrive on one server while losing ground on ten others.

Global Class Share

Next, let’s look at the global region for Vampir. The top two, Akasha and Viper, have hit a stalemate, leaving the 3rd to 5th place contenders—Carnage, Bloodstain, and Grim Reaper—to fight it out. Carnage has managed to soak up enough share to keep a safe distance. It’s worth noting that Bloodstain is really struggling to make an impact in the global region.

The real story here is the 'freeze' between Akasha and Viper. Last week, Viper surged by a massive 6.9% points, causing the other four classes to lose out. Akasha, sitting just above, took a 2.3% point hit, while Carnage dropped by 2.5%. The fact that Akasha's share hasn't budged since suggests it hasn't been able to recover its losses. At this rate, Viper might just be the one to claim the throne.

All-Server Clan Ranking

The May clan rankings for Vampir can be described as a full circle. We started the month of May on the Meca Ranking with Myth, only to see Blood-Clan snatch the crown the following week. After a two-week reign, SpartaA accumulated enough experience to take the throne. So, who is the winner for the final week of May? Surprisingly, Myth, led by TKJijon, has returned to the top. It has been a month of fierce competition, but everything has come full circle back to Myth.

Sacred Relic Defense Top 100 Status

Vampir introduced the 'Sacred Relic Defense' content in the third week of May. It’s a PvE clan activity where you have to fend off waves of monsters coming from four different directions. Points are calculated based on your kills, and the game ranks you across all servers. Note that the Sacred Relic Defense runs on a seasonal basis, with the pre-season lasting until May 31.

KookminTree for Vampir has launched a new segment to track the Top 10 rankers in the Korean region for the Sacred Relic Defense, including rank shifts and point growth. We plan to make it easy for you to compare results with the previous week. In our first count, 'Sasin' from Oscar 2 took the lead with 15,667 points. Abigail came in second, holding the only other score in the 15,000 range. The other clans in the Top 10 are familiar faces from the battlefields, and it’s clear the competition has followed them here too.

Vampir Meca Ranking User Poll

Last week, we asked you about your scores in the Sacred Relic Defense. Most of you landed in the 5,000–7,000 range, with the 3,000–5,000 range coming in second. The reason the 9,000–11,000 range is so thin is simple: at the time of our count, only four clans in the Top 100 had hit those numbers. It’s a modest start, but we’re looking forward to seeing those scores climb higher.
