A new title in Sony's flagship 'God of War' series has been revealed. It will focus on the afterlife journey of Laufey, Kratos' wife and Atreus' mother. Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the new title from Santa Monica Studio, 'God of War LAUFEY'. This installment in the God of War series delves into the story after Laufey's death. The previous installment, which moved the setting to the Norse world, depicted Kratos and Atreus embarking on a long journey to scatter her ashes atop a mountain in Jotunheim, the giants' homeland, after holding her funeral. Throughout this journey, Kratos and Atreus grow as father and son, respectively.
