HAEGIN announced on the 5th that a new update has been applied to 2026 Pro Yakyu GO!. This update includes the opening of a new 1990s season and a major overhaul of the core growth systems. The 'Transcendent･Breakthrough' system, designed to elevate a club's strength, has been revamped, alongside an expansion of era-specific content to evoke nostalgia for old-school baseball fans.

The new season is set in the era between 1990 and 1999, introducing a plethora of new player cards from that period, including regular players, the iconic franchise players, and the top-tier 'Monster' players. Additionally, new player lineups and exclusive transcendent items for KT Wiz and NC Dinos have been bolstered.

The core club management systems, 'Player Contract Center (Trade)' and 'Transcendent･Breakthrough', have also been newly reorganized. The trade system has been revamped for user-friendliness, with improved visibility of grade-specific reward probabilities and the point bar, facilitating more strategic player acquisitions. Furthermore, the maximum level for player cards has been extended from 40 to 50. The 'Player Breakthrough' and 'Transcendent' systems, aimed at unlocking a player's full potential, have seen their stat increase balance and required material quantities optimized, thereby enhancing the sense of accomplishment in player development.

Moreover, the 'Division League', an asynchronous user competition, now features the top-tier 'Star 1 League', offering more intense ranking battles. The difficulty of major game modes such as Idle League, Daily Mode, and Infinite Mode, as well as the Guild Breakthrough War, has been adjusted overall to fully support players' smooth progression.
