NetEase Games and the folks over at Joker Studio have decided to pull back the curtain on their latest project, Sea of Remnant, with a fresh new trailer.

The footage made its debut on the 6th during the Summer Game Fest 2026. Titled 'Let's Get Crazy! Crew Assembly,' the trailer ditches the usual cinematic tropes for a full-blown music video experience, set to the tune of 'Make It Loud'.

The video offers a proper look at the motley crew of pirate fleets populating the game. It highlights six key factions and their distinct personalities: the Dawn Breaker elite loyal to the Empress, the gold-and-glory-hungry Black Baron, the rock-n-roll infused Ranbo, and those wandering souls just drifting across the sea, among others.

Sea of Remnant is already turning heads, mostly because it is the latest effort from Joker Studio, a team that earned their stripes with the hit game Identity V. You can expect to set sail later this year, with a simultaneous global launch—Korea included—across PC and PS5.
