Smilegate has rolled out a fresh update for the mobile RPG Epic Seven, developed by Super Creative, introducing the new hero duo, Lyanna & Luciella. In what marks a first for the game, these two arrive as a twin hero unit.

You might recognise them from the Episode 6 'Requiem of the End' storyline, where they serve as assassins and enforcers for the secret organisation, The Black Grail, standing firmly against Ras and his companions. Lore-wise, they are devoid of human emotion, possessing a rather unsettling cruelty born from profound emotional neglect.

Lyanna & Luciella are 5-star dark-element thieves. True to their twin nature, they are designed as the first heroes capable of swapping out mid-combat. Their unique buff, 'Butterfly of Afterimage', boosts evasion by 70%, while granting Lyanna an effectiveness increase and Luciella a critical damage boost, sharpening their individual lethality.

The pair feature distinct names and effects for their first and second skills, allowing you to adapt to the flow of battle with some flexibility. Triggering their second skill initiates a character swap and grants an extra turn; under specific conditions, the swapped-in hero will fire off their first skill again before that bonus turn properly begins. Their third skill, 'Death's Pursuit', sees the duo team up to unleash heavy damage on all enemies, stripping away their buffs and inflicting debuffs like 'Fear'.
