FromSoftware’s first-ever Nintendo exclusive, The Duskblood, is gearing up for a network test this summer.

Nintendo dropped the news during their latest Nintendo Direct on the 9th, alongside a fresh look at the game. The Duskblood is a brand-new PvPvE title launching exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2, and it’s already turning heads for its strikingly similar vibe to Bloodborne.

You’ll step into the shoes of the 'Blood Kin', summoned to a region known as the 'Twilight of Humanity'—a place that emerges just as our era draws to a close. The objective? To fight over a peculiar resource called 'First Blood'. The setting itself is a visual treat, ranging from haunting Gothic architecture to the grittier aesthetics of the late modern period. With around 10 distinct characters to choose from, you’ll be pitted against others in an 8-player multiplayer arena.

This teaser trailer was released to prep us for the network test and peel back a layer or two of the game’s mystery. The footage leans heavily into a dark, melancholic palette, with a recurring crimson moon motif acting as the visual anchor. Lines like 'We are all bloodthirsty monsters' set a rather grim tone for the combat ahead, and the clip signs off with the confirmation of a closed network test arriving this summer.

The Duskblood is set to launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 later this year, with full official Korean language support.
