Pokémon Poképia, the charming tale of a Ditto protagonist living alongside various Pokémon, is set to receive a fresh coat of paint with a new update.

Nintendo dropped the news during their latest Nintendo Direct on the 9th, announcing that the update will be split between free content and a paid expansion pass.

The free update, themed around 'expanding the world beneath the waves,' introduces a brand new underwater exploration zone. You'll be able to encounter and interact with a variety of Water-type Pokémon. Naturally, you can still keep up with your usual routine of gardening and decorating to your heart's content.

If you fancy opening your wallet for the 'Pokémon Poképia Expansion Pass,' you'll gain access to exclusive underwater furniture, fresh outfits, and additional Pokémon. The pass is split into three waves: the first, 'Bubble-Bubble Underwater Village,' arrives this August, followed by new features in winter, and a brand new village scheduled for 2027.
