The Jeonnam Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency (hereinafter referred to as the Agency) has officially set its sights on the 2026 Game Talent Development Programme.

Open to all Jeonnam residents entirely free of charge, the programme aims to forge hybrid talents equipped with both core game development skills and a knack for generative AI. It is a practical, project-based learning (PBL) affair designed to sharpen job competitiveness while bridging the gap between local gaming and content firms to create real employment opportunities.

The curriculum is split into five distinct, field-oriented tracks: Unity game development, AI-assisted game art and resource creation, AI prompt engineering certification, content entrepreneurship, and general generative AI training.

The Unity development track focuses heavily on engine mastery and the nitty-gritty of game production. Meanwhile, the AI art track dives into using generative tools for graphics and asset creation, and the certification course helps you tick the box for official AI prompt credentials.

Participants get the full package: tuition and material costs are covered, you gain experience with practical projects, exam fees for up to two certifications are provided, and you get career placement support. Plus, your project output serves as a handy portfolio piece for your future job hunt.

The courses will roll out from July to October across key hubs like Mokpo, Suncheon, and Naju. Each cohort is capped at 15 to 25 students, and applications are processed online. For the finer details, reach out to the Jeonnam Global Game Center or the operating body, The Zone Academy.
