Smilegate Hope Studio recently joined forces with three separate Lost Ark communities to support local veterans. This initiative, launched to mark the Month of Patriots and Veterans, aims to improve the living conditions and provide essential support for those who served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

The event, held on the 27th at the Seoul Nowon Senior Welfare Center, saw roughly 50 members from communities such as Loawa, Lopek, and Iloa lend a hand. These volunteers spent the day with 75 veterans, offering both emotional support and practical home improvements. They spent time crafting terrariums and chatting with the seniors, before moving on to scrub windows and clean fans in their homes.

The Hope Studio platform is currently running a 'FUNding' campaign until the 12th of next month to continue raising money for veteran welfare. All proceeds will be donated to the Seoul Nowon Senior Welfare Center to help cover essential living supplies.

Loawa representative Choi Jin-il noted that it was a truly meaningful experience to share their gratitude with veterans alongside fellow Lost Ark players during this month of remembrance. Kwon Yeon-ju, a director at Smilegate Hope Studio, added that this event serves as a prime example of how developers and their communities can create real-world value together. She stated, "We will continue to work with diverse gaming communities to foster hope for future generations and act as a platform that makes giving back an enjoyable experience for gamers."

Hope Studio continues to expand its reach by leveraging gamification-based platforms alongside various gaming companies and IP partners to spread a culture of donation and support the next generation.
