Smilegate and developer Super Creative have unveiled the latest season of their roguelike RPG, Chaos Zero Nightmare, during the Anime Expo 2026. This event was held as a panel session for users at the LA Convention Center on the 3rd, local time.

During the panel session, Super Creative Producer Kim Hyung-suk, who oversees the project, took the stage to share insights into the development process and the team's efforts to enhance the game's enjoyment. Kim emphasized that "sincerity from the development team is the core of subculture games," and pledged to "continue working hard to improve the game's quality."

Regarding specific update news, the new season, 'Season 4: Shattered Light and Claws,' will launch on July 29. This update introduces new combatants: Hilde, Arabella, and Olga. Hilde uses a bow, Arabella utilizes a flexible sword, and Olga is equipped with a massive scythe, showcasing combat styles distinct from existing characters.

A cosmetic system for combatants currently under development was also introduced. Wearing these 'outing outfits' adds exclusive voice lines and stories, and a variety of these outfits will be added sequentially, starting this summer with seasonal combatants such as Heidemarie and Sereniel.
