Ironmace announced that it has kicked off Season 10 of its hardcore fantasy dungeon extraction game, Dark and Darker, as of the 17th (KST). This Season 10 update includes various content, including the first full-scale expansion of The Firedeep since the game's release, as well as the addition of a new boss, the Wyvern.

Through this update, new skills and perks have been added for the Wizard, Cleric, and Rogue classes, with new spells added for the Wizard and Cleric classes. This allows players to configure specialized builds for each class and experience diverse combat styles. In addition, the crafting system has been revamped, allowing players to craft gear directly using materials obtained in the dungeons.

The newly expanded The Firedeep offers a distinct atmosphere, helping players experience a new environment. In particular, the battle against the Wyvern, the massive boss of the abyss, adds to the tension. Along with this, new artifacts have been added to assist players in their adventures. Some of this new content reflects feedback obtained from community tests, demonstrating the direction in which the developers and users are creating the game together.

A Twitch Drops event to celebrate the opening of Season 10 will run for three weeks from July 18 to August 7. Users can watch Dark and Darker broadcasts on Twitch to earn various in-game rewards. Since its early access launch in 2023, Dark and Darker has recorded a peak of 100,000 concurrent players, reached second place on the STEAM top sellers list, and recorded a cumulative total of 6.85 million players as of 2026.
