To mark the occasion, the developer is gifting a special appreciation coupon to the community and launching a brand-new summer season event.

Released globally on May 26, Overgeared Hero is a backpack-based roguelike strategy RPG where the acquisition and arrangement of items dictate your combat prowess. Players purchase items that appear randomly in the shop each turn, combining various gear of different shapes and sizes to forge superior equipment. The outcome of each battle hinges entirely on how efficiently you pack your limited inventory space.

The game forces players to adapt their inventory and combat tactics based on their chosen class, allowing for a diverse range of unique builds. Once the packing is complete, combat unfolds automatically. With an average session lasting about 5 minutes, the title blends retro pixel art with intuitive controls, all while offering surprisingly deep strategic layers.
