Smilegate has launched the fourth season of its dark fantasy roguelike RPG, Chaos Zero Nightmare, developed by Super Creative, titled 'Broken Light and Claws'.

The new story arc follows an adventure to uncover the truth behind a series of disappearances targeting the strategic asset known as the 'First'. Players can engage in the new chaos stage, 'Hatchery of Kaleidoscope', to earn character acquisition resources and various core-type items from the supply shop.

A new Instinct-attribute Ranger class combatant, Hilde, has been added along with her partner, Uni. Additionally, an 'Outing' system has been introduced, allowing players to view new appearances, dialogue, and stories for their combatants. This update features the debut of casual outfits for Hilde and Tiphera. Furthermore, a growth guide system and a build preset system—which saves desired save data results to recommend cards—have been added to assist with efficient character development.

To celebrate the summer season, the Beach Café Festival event will run until September 30. Players can complete missions to earn rewards such as save data backgrounds and a casual outfit for the combatant, Ray.
