Nexon is set to host the Counter-Strike Online Korea-China Friendly Match in Shanghai, China, this coming 5th.

Marking the return of this international exhibition after an eight-year hiatus, the event features the South Korean team Sephiroth facing off against the Chinese side Glorious Dynasty. The teams will clash in a 5v5 Zombie Occupation mode, and the match will be broadcast live in Korean via the official Counter-Strike Online YouTube channel.

Sephiroth earned their spot by securing victory at the Daewundonghoe Winter Campus held this past February. Following their win at the Daewundonghoe Grand Prix last August, the team is proving to be a force to be reckoned with. Much of the attention is currently fixed on 'Changhyun', who returns as the team captain after having been the youngest competitor in the previous Korea-China Friendly Match eight years ago.

On-site, Park Hyun-mi, the Business Team Leader for Counter-Strike Online, will unveil the summer update roadmap, while Director Choi Jin-hyuk will handle the trophy presentation for the winning team.
