TalesRunner, currently co-serviced by Blommix and Rhaon Entertainment, is gearing up for the arrival of its latest character, Zab, with a major update and a series of special events.

The update introduces the 'Zab's Adaptation to Fairyland' event, expands character and collection levels, reopens the social hub 'Plaza', and adds a fresh batch of items.

As the first original animal-type character in the history of TalesRunner, Zab is taking center stage with a pre-launch event and a dedicated pre-order period.

The 'Zab's Adaptation to Fairyland' event follows the story of Zab and a car named 'Howl' arriving in Fairyland, tasked with earning enough currency to repair their broken-down vehicle. You can earn coupons by completing daily missions or specific challenges to claim items from the Zab board. Players who clear the entire narrative will also unlock exclusive titles themed around Zab and Howl.

Zab is scheduled for release on the 23rd, with pre-orders running until the maintenance window on that day. Those who purchase the character early will be rewarded with Zab's exclusive outfit, custom poses, and bonus cash.

The progression system has also seen an expansion. For the first time since 2019—approximately six years—the top-tier ranks of Chronos and Inferno have been added, alongside new collection levels for Shining and Miracle. Reaching these milestones nets you podium items, chair poses, and select collection-specific outfits.

New gear has also been introduced. Alongside the reveal of Zab, a new 'Animal Whale' accessory series and fresh costumes have been added to the game.

Furthermore, the 'Plaza', the official hub for community interaction, is back. You can now use it to post messages, comments, and engage with the community. Both personal and guild plazas are available, allowing for deeper connections among guild members. The 'Recommended Plaza' feature also lets you visit other players' spaces and check their recent in-game activities.

TalesRunner PD Lee Jae-jun remarked, "While we have featured animal characters through collaborations before, Zab is our first original animal character, and we hope you show it plenty of interest." Lee added, "We are planning a variety of seasonal updates to meet players' expectations for the summer."
