NCSoft’s MMORPG 'THRONE AND LIBERTY' (TL) has kicked off its 'Grand Summer Festa' update.

Players can dive into the 'Grand Summer Festa' events and fresh content starting at 5 PM on the 24th. Key hubs like Vienta, Kessler, and Herba have been decked out with beach-themed gear, including parasols, sandcastles, and surfboards. You can hunt down the 'Chief Water-Play Goblin' and 'Water-Play Goblin' lurking in fields and abyssal dungeons to snag event boxes.

Cracking open these boxes rewards you with items such as 'Water-Play Coins,' the 'Summer Wave' profile frame, Hero-grade Tier 2 gear, and the in-game currency 'Solant.' You can stack up even more 'Water-Play Coins' by taking down monsters while under the 'Midsummer Gigantrite' buff, or by simply completing attendance checks and weekly missions.

These 'Water-Play Coins' can be traded at NPC vendors in each town for growth support items, event titles, profile frames, amusement transformations, and cooking ingredients.

NCSoft is also launching a 6v6 PvP event called 'Amitoi Water Balloon Festival.' Players can enter the 'Splashing Summer Sea' arena, a pool-themed battlefield, to engage in a water-gun showdown. The arena features gimmicks like exploding pools and giant waves, allowing for some truly strategic water-based gameplay.

Life-skill content has received a boost as well. You can now try your luck with 10 new summer-themed fish added to the fishing system, or craft the new 'Ceviche' dish, which provides a welcome buff to weapon specialization XP and Solant acquisition rates.

From the 25th to the 31st, NCSoft is hosting the 'Solisium Champions,' a 12v12 battlefield tournament for Dimensional Stones. You can catch the quarterfinals (29th), semifinals (30th), and finals (31st) live on the official TL website. The developers themselves will be providing commentary for the semifinals and finals. The winning guild will walk away with a hefty haul, including Solant, Open Stones, Conversion Stones, a 7-day 'Blessing of Solisium Plus,' a Solisium costume selection box, the 'Legendary Warrior' title, and a golden Ark weapon skin.
