Krafton is hosting the '2025 PUBG MOBILE World Cup' (PMWC), an event tied to the Esports World Cup (EWC), starting on the 25th.

The 2025 PMWC is set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 25 to August 3, with a total prize pool of $3 million (approximately 4.1 billion KRW). A total of 24 teams, including top teams from PUBG MOBILE pro leagues around the world, will participate in the tournament.

Representing the domestic league, DRX and Nongshim RedForce have secured their spots in the 2025 PMWC. DRX qualified as the champions of PMPS 2025 Season 1, while Nongshim RedForce earned their ticket by winning the 'PUBG MOBILE RIVALS CUP (PMRC) 2025 Season 1'.

The 2025 PMWC begins with the Group Stage from the 25th to the 27th. The 24 teams are divided into three groups of eight, with each group playing a total of 12 matches. The top eight teams from the Group Stage will advance directly to the Grand Finals, while the bottom 16 teams will compete in a 12-match Survival Stage on the 29th and 30th. The top eight teams from the Survival Stage will then advance to the Grand Finals.

The Grand Finals, running from August 1 to 3, will feature 18 matches played under the 'Smash Rule'. Once the second day of the Grand Finals concludes, a 'match point' is established by adding 10 points to the cumulative score of the current leader. To be crowned the winner, a team must reach or exceed this match point threshold and then finish a match in first place.

Every match of the 2025 PMWC kicks off at 8:00 PM KST and will be broadcast live via the official PUBG Mobile Esports YouTube, TikTok, and Chzzk channels. More detailed information can be found on the PUBG Mobile Esports website.
