Neowiz announced on the 27th that 'SANABI Side Story: The Day of the Haunted', developed by Wonder Potion, has been officially released on Steam. 'SANABI Side Story: The Day of the Haunted' is a prequel to the main game, focusing on the 'origin of the signal' as its core theme.

The game features Major Song, a compelling supporting character from the original, as the protagonist. Players take on the role of Major Song at a time before she first encountered the 'General,' struggling to survive and uncover secrets while performing a mission in a robot scrapyard. The game centers on relentless aerial action, showcasing flashy combat that switches between swords and shotguns. In particular, players can maximize the fun of combat by utilizing 'Burst,' an overload ability that unleashes explosive power when conditions are met.

Players can create seamless combat sequences by utilizing jumps and mid-air shotgun blasts. By using the shotgun's recoil for rapid leaps and directional changes, players can combine various skills to enjoy a unique style of aerial action. The game consists of approximately two hours of scenario content, seven standard stages, and two types of bosses.

'SANABI Side Story: The Day of the Haunted' supports 11 languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, and Spanish. Anyone who owns the original SANABI can play it for free.
