Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was released on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S on the 22nd. This title serves as the first entry in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy project.

Final Fantasy VII Remake follows the journey of former SOLDIER Cloud and his cohorts as they take a stand against the Shinra Company. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade bundles the base 'Final Fantasy VII Remake'—covering the 'Escape from Midgar' arc—alongside the side-story 'Final Fantasy VII Remake Episode INTERmission'.

Square Enix is offering an early-purchase limited edition until January 31, 2026, which includes both Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and the original Final Fantasy VII. Standard and Digital Deluxe editions are slated for release starting February 1.

The early-purchase Digital Deluxe edition includes the main game, the original title, a digital art book, and a digital mini soundtrack featuring 24 tracks. You can enjoy this digital content via the Square Enix Digital Contents Viewer. Note for Switch 2 players: you will need to access the viewer through a PC web browser using the URL and code provided in an email following your eShop purchase and Square Enix account registration.

The physical package version for Nintendo Switch 2 includes a 'Magic: The Gathering' Final Fantasy Play Booster pack as a first-edition bonus. Additionally, a free demo is available covering Chapter 1, 'The Destruction of Mako Reactor 1'. Save data carries over to the full game, and players will receive the Spirit's Piercing and an Adventure Item Set as a link-up bonus.
