Blizzard launched the World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic commemorative server on the 6th.

This server integrates 'The Burning Crusade' content into the World of Warcraft Classic framework, allowing players to explore Outland, a world of exile filled with dangers and mysteries. Heroes at level 60 or above can now join forces with others to stand against the Burning Legion and protect Azeroth.

With this launch, Blood Elves and Draenei have been added as playable races, and the level cap has been increased to 70, granting players access to new powers. Blood Elves are survivors of the devastating Burning Legion invasion during the Third War. They can choose from classes such as Mage, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, and Warlock, and can also join the battle as Paladins, a class previously exclusive to the Alliance.

The Draenei, who were exiled from their home by the Burning Legion and wandered the cosmos, can choose from Warrior, Paladin, Priest, Mage, Hunter, and the new Alliance-exclusive class, Shaman. Additionally, flying mounts have been introduced to help players reach the most dangerous and remote areas of Outland, and a new profession, Jewelcrafting, has been added.

Three high-difficulty raids are available: Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, and Magtheridon's Lair. Anyone with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time can continue their adventure into Outland.
