Look, 24 Entertainment—the studio that previously caught our eye with Naraka: Bladepoint—has just dropped a brand new trailer for their upcoming project, Blood Message.

In case you have forgotten, Blood Message is an action-adventure title that first surfaced back in July last year. It is set against the backdrop of the 'Saju Uprising' in the twilight of the Tang Dynasty, weaving a tale of a nameless courier and his young son caught in the chaos of a riot within the ancient oasis city of Dunhuang.

The latest trailer gives us a proper look at the combat. Our protagonist hacks through waves of enemies across a variety of terrains, from battlefields and rural villages to the tops of daunting castle walls. There are sequences of mounted archery during high-stakes chases and brutal sieges atop fortifications. The combat appears surprisingly tactile; enemies react specifically to the direction and style of your strikes, and you can even coordinate with allies to shove foes off the ramparts—a cheeky little detail that certainly catches the eye.

As of now, the developers have kept quiet regarding the release date, specific platforms, and whether we might see Korean language support. Best of luck to them as they keep us waiting.
