Inti Creates, in partnership with Cometsoft, is bringing the Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 1,2 Dual Collection to Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5. The physical version of this collection will be officially released in Korea on July 9, 2026, with full Korean localization. This title integrates the existing side-scrolling action series and adds new elements to the package.

The collection includes the 2019 title, Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX, and the 2022 sequel, Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2, along with all previously released downloadable content (DLC). This series is a spin-off that shares the universe of Azure Striker GUNVOLT, featuring the protagonist Copen and delivering high-speed, action-packed gameplay.

The game is set in a future island nation where most of humanity has evolved into 'Adepts' possessing supernatural powers known as Septima. Players control Copen as he fights against an organization aiming to purge the powerless 'Old Type' humans. In this package, the playable character Copen has received several adjustments, expanding tactical options for both ground and aerial combat. The 'Darkness Trigger' system from the first game has been enhanced, while the second game introduces the new 'Torque Smash' system to increase the power of the primary weapon.

This version adds a new 'Endless Battle' mode, where players face random bosses in a continuous gauntlet, and includes all DLC, including store-exclusive bonuses, as standard. The suggested retail price for the physical edition is 58,300 KRW for the PS5 version and 69,300 KRW for the Nintendo Switch 2 edition.
