Gravity has successfully secured a Chinese publishing license for its new MMORPG, Ragnarok M: Eternal Love 2.

The National Press and Publication Administration of China officially announced the title as part of its list of approved imported games. Ragnarok M: Eternal Love 2 is scheduled for release on PC and mobile platforms in China, though a specific service schedule has not yet been finalized.

The game is built using 3D cel-shaded graphics and adopts a semi-open world to enhance the freedom of exploration. It also features a real-time combat system utilizing a third-person perspective.

This new title is the official sequel to Ragnarok M: Eternal Love, which launched in China in 2017 and enjoyed immense popularity. The predecessor recorded 6 million pre-registrations alone, and following its launch, it reached No. 1 in popularity and No. 20 in revenue on the Apple App Store. It was a major success, surpassing 1 million downloads in its first week and 3 million cumulative downloads in its first month.

Gravity's Business Director Kim Jin-hwan stated, "Ragnarok M: Eternal Love 2 is the sequel to the original title that caused a sensation and achieved great success in the Chinese market. We are currently developing it to provide new fun based on the strengths of the original, such as its charming aesthetic and community elements." He added, "We will do our best to replicate the popularity of Ragnarok in the local market once again, following in the footsteps of its predecessor."
