In this tournament, Gen.G (GEN) from Alpha Group became the first to punch their ticket to the playoffs, boasting a clean sweep with four consecutive wins. Meanwhile, Nongshim RedForce (NS) from the same group climbed to second place in Alpha Group after a dominant victory over ZETA Division (ZETA). On the other hand, it was a tough week for the Omega Group, as both T1 and DRX (DRX) walked away with losses.

Alpha Group leaders Gen.G secured a 2-1 set victory against Global Esports (GE). After dropping the first set, Gen.G levelled the playing field in the second, clinching a 14-12 win in overtime thanks to the decisive performance of t3xture (Kim Na-ra). In the final set, Karon (Kim Won-tae) held off the opposition with clinical precision to seal a 13-11 victory. With this, Gen.G continues their unbeaten streak and secures a direct ticket to the second round of the playoff upper bracket.

Nongshim RedForce pulled off a 2-1 comeback win against ZETA Division. After losing the first set, Nongshim RedForce turned things around in the second with Ivy (Park Seong-hyeon) leading the charge to a 15-13 overtime victory. The momentum carried into the third set, where they achieved a flawless 13-0 perfect game to close out the series. This puts Nongshim RedForce at a 2-2 record, sitting firmly in second place in Alpha Group, with their playoff fate set to be decided in the final fourth week of matches.

In the Omega Group, T1 and DRX suffered disappointing defeats. T1 fell 1-2 to DetonatioN FocusMe (DFM), bringing their record to 2-2. While BuZz (Yoo Byung-chul) fought back with a clutch one-on-one win in the second set, T1 ultimately conceded the third. DRX took the opening set against VALIANT (VL) but failed to maintain the lead, losing 1-2. DRX now sits at 1-3, while VALIANT’s dramatic victory propelled the squad to second place in the Omega Group.
