News has emerged that FromSoftware is currently developing another new title in addition to those already announced.

According to the overseas outlet Mp1st, beyond the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive 'DuskBlood', FromSoftware is working on a new multiplatform title. The project is codenamed Project FMC, and it is scheduled to be revealed before next year, provided there are no delays.

Among users who have heard the news, speculation is rising that it could be a new title related to Dark Souls or Armored Core. The core of this theory is that the codenames for Dark Souls Remastered (FHD), Dark Souls 2 (FRPG2), Dark Souls 3 (FDP), and Armored Core 6 (FNR) all begin with 'F', and Project FMC is believed to be part of this series.

Meanwhile, the possibility of a Dark Souls 3 remaster has also been raised. The first Dark Souls was remastered in 2018, and the second entry received a remaster-like update in 2015 under the subtitle Scholar of the First Sin. Not only is it logically the next in line for a remaster, but the theory has gained weight as the overseas outlet 'XboxEra' reported in a podcast last November that a "Dark Souls 3 remaster is in development."
