Krafton's PUBG: Battlegrounds esports national tournament, the PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) 2025, has officially concluded with a stunning victory for Vietnam.

The PNC 2025 took place over five days from the 23rd to the 27th at the Seoul Olympic Handball Gymnasium. With players representing 24 regions across the globe competing, the final stage spanned 18 matches. Ultimately, the Vietnam team secured the championship trophy by accumulating 216 points.

The Vietnam team took the lead from the very first match of the final stage and never looked back, clinching the title of world's best. Vietnam showcased a masterclass in aggressive play and stable decision-making, effectively securing the championship well before the tournament's end.

The squad featured TanVuu (Tran Thanh Vu) and Delwyn (Cao Quang Nguyen) from The Expendables, the winners of the PUBG Global Championship (PGC) 2024, alongside Himass (La Phuong Tien Dat) and Sololzy (Luong Ngoc Hien) from the former Vietnamese pro team CERBERUS Esports. Himass stood out as the MVP of PNC 2025, tallying 44 kills and 7,935 total damage over the three days of the final stage.

The South Korean team, aiming for a third consecutive victory following their 2023 and 2024 titles, unfortunately finished the tournament in 8th place.

The base prize pool for PNC 2025 is $500,000 (approximately 690,000,000 KRW). This is supplemented by 25% of the revenue from commemorative in-game items sold until the 10th of next month, distributed based on final rankings. As of the 28th, the total prize pool has surpassed $950,000 (approximately 1,310,000,000 KRW), nearly doubling the initial amount, with the champions from Vietnam set to receive over $280,000 (approximately 390,000,000 KRW).
