On the 7th, Seven Knights Re:BIRTH (SKRB) released a massive update featuring the new Legendary hero Platon, the fresh region 'Moonlight Coast', 'Sena Chess', and 'Melchior's Laboratory'. The developer also addressed community feedback by implementing a guaranteed Legendary accessory system and rebalancing the difficulty of the Tower of Trials.

Platon, the new addition to Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, hails from the Dark Knights as a Support unit. What makes Platon stand out is the kit that scales with defense; the higher the defensive stats, the more bite the attacks have. With self-healing triggered by dealing damage and a secondary sustain mechanic that kicks in when health drops below 50%, the hero is a natural fit for defensive lineups. Plus, with a passive that deals fixed damage to all enemies after being struck four times, Platon brings some much-needed utility to the table.

A pick-up summon event is live from August 7th until the maintenance on August 21st. During this window, Platon’s summon rate is boosted, and you are guaranteed to pull the hero within 200 attempts. Furthermore, the developer offers various growth materials for each Ultimate Enhancement and Transcendence stage. Reach two-transcendence, and you will secure a 'Shining Skill Enhancement Stone', making this the perfect time to build up Platon.

Sena Chess and Melchior's Laboratory are designed to lower the barrier to acquiring Legendary heroes. Sena Chess is a fantastic starting point for adventurers with smaller rosters, while Melchior's Laboratory acts as a secondary path to snag top-tier heroes, including the original Seven Knights. If you play Sena Chess consistently—roughly 2-3 times a day—you are guaranteed a Legendary hero of your choice, alongside useful resources like skill stones.

The community-requested quality-of-life changes are also worth noting. The new guaranteed Legendary accessory system ensures that if you fail to loot a 4-star Legendary accessory in the Nightmare stages, your progress is tracked via a 'Guaranteed Reward Gauge'. Once this reaches 15,000, you are guaranteed a drop. Do keep in mind, however, that the gauge resets the moment you loot a Legendary accessory.

The seasonal 'Tower of Trials' has also seen a significant rebalancing. The developer has nerfed monster stats across the board and tweaked debuffs on several floors to remove some of the more frustrating hurdles. This season runs from the maintenance on August 7th until 6:00 AM on September 4th.

Don't miss the events, either. Seven Knights Re:BIRTH has introduced a PC-based payment system, and to celebrate, there is a 5% discount event alongside a promotion for spending the premium currency 'Prism'. Your first use of Prism nets you 200 Rubies, with an additional 200 for every 500 cumulative units spent. These events run from August 7th until the maintenance on August 21st.
