kt Rolster Academy has secured the championship title at the 4th 2025 LCK Academy Series (LCK AS) Open Tournament.

The LCK AS serves as a vital bridge between amateur and professional play, acting as a proving ground for aspiring pros. For this 4th Open Tournament, a total of 34 teams stepped into the arena, comprising 13 LCK-affiliated academy squads and 21 amateur rosters.

The semi-finals saw Gen.G Scholars, TPA Management Academy, kt Rolster Academy, and 'Catch the Mouse' battle it out. In the final showdown on the 31st, kt Rolster Academy dismantled 'Catch the Mouse' with a clean 2-0 sweep to claim the crown.

kt Rolster Academy jungler Heo Chan remarked, "I'm absolutely thrilled to grab my first-ever Open Tournament win. It's rewarding to see our collective preparation pay off. Last year was a bit of a letdown, but winning the LCK AS first-half Academy League, the 17th KeG, and now this 4th Open Tournament makes this year truly special. I will continue to grow and deliver even better performances in the future."

The champions took home 2,000,000 KRW in prize money, while the runners-up received 1,000,000 KRW. Both teams were also granted practice accounts to keep their skills sharp.

Registration for the 2025 LCK AS second-half Academy League is open until the 7th. The tournament will run in a full league format from September 20th to November 2nd, with the playoffs scheduled for November 8th to 16th.
