Note that gear destroyed due to failed enhancement attempts doesn't count. My advice? Tackle both in week four. The Hero's Pledge mission countdown begins when you create your character, but the completion criteria are checked from the moment the mission opens. If you dismantle 70 items after week four kicks off, you'll clear both missions simultaneously.

Gather your gear through field hunting and the 'Ancient Workshop.' Field hunting is basically just the byproduct of your daily and main quest grind. The Ancient Workshop, however, is the only standard dungeon where equipment drops regularly, making it a much more efficient source. Keep in mind, you only get eight hours of base usage time per week. If you're out of 'Ancient Workshop Time Charge Stones,' you'll have to wait until the following Monday. If you find gear needed for your collection, prioritize filling that out before dismantling the leftovers.
