2K and Firaxis Games have announced that 'Sid Meier's Civilization VII Arcade Edition' (hereinafter Civilization VII Arcade Edition) will launch on Apple’s subscription service, Apple Arcade, on February 5th.

Co-developed by Behaviour Interactive and Firaxis Games, this iteration aims to pack the series' signature tactical depth onto mobile devices by porting the core elements of the original experience.

In Civilization VII Arcade Edition, players step into the shoes of legendary leaders to rule their empire. As you progress through the ages of human development, you can select new civilizations to weave your own historical narrative. From building cities and expanding your borders to researching technology and exploring uncharted territories, the choice to compete or cooperate with rival powers remains entirely yours.

The developers have optimized the UI and UX to ensure the spirit of the original is preserved on mobile devices. Firaxis has implemented an intuitive, touch-focused control scheme, allowing players to enjoy the game while on the move.
