Cygames' flagship title, Granblue Fantasy, officially launched on Steam on the 10th. However, it is currently recording a 'Mostly Negative' rating due to issues with account linking and optimization.

Granblue Fantasy is one of the company's signature titles, having been in service for 12 years since its 2014 release. Cygames announced the official Steam version late last December to celebrate the game's 12th anniversary and expand globally, with client services beginning on the 10th. The Steam version introduces a 16:9 widescreen layout optimized for PC. Servers are not separated and are shared with the existing web and mobile versions.

However, user data from the Japanese service does not sync with the Steam version. While it can be linked to an official Cygames ID, players must start the game from scratch to play on Steam. This issue has become a major point of contention, leading to a 'Mostly Negative' rating (33% positive from 450 participants) in the early stages of the Steam release.

Reviews are highly critical of the fact that players must abandon existing accounts—where they have invested thousands of hours and resources—to start from scratch on Steam. Since the game has been running for so long, players argue that it is virtually impossible to catch up to existing users to earn rewards from endgame content like raids and guild wars. Furthermore, many point out that aside from the widescreen layout, the game is essentially a direct port of the web interface with poor optimization, offering no real advantages for the PC environment. Additionally, there is disappointment that despite being a global Steam release, it only supports English and Japanese.

Cygames has stated that they are considering ways to link existing accounts in the future, but with no timeline provided, cynical reactions are prevalent. It is a somewhat disappointing result compared to the positive reception of other spin-off titles like the action RPG and fighting game.

Meanwhile, on the Steam global top-sellers list, Cities: Skylines rose to 7th place following the release of the Race Day DLC, which allows for the construction of race tracks. EA Sports FC 26, which received a new update on the 5th and added Ultimate Team on the 7th, has maintained its top-tier position for three days.

In the top 20 daily peak concurrent players, Dota 2 saw a decrease of about 80,000 from the previous day to 582,490, narrowing the gap with Slay the Spire 2 to within 10,000. Slay the Spire 2 continues to maintain its numbers in the mid-500,000s without a decline. Resident Evil: Requiem fell below 100,000, dropping to 17th place.
