The console qualifiers will be contested on the Nintendo Switch version of 'Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival'. To enter, you need to record your performance of the two designated tracks: 'Yumeutsutsu Catharsis' (Difficulty 8) and 'Puma Module 6768' (Difficulty 9). While you are free to use the Taiko controller, drumsticks, or Joy-Cons, touch controls are strictly prohibited. Your final ranking will be determined by the combined score of both tracks, with the top four players securing their spot in the finals. Don't dally—the deadline for submission is Tuesday, May 5th, at 23:59.

When filming your run, ensure both your screen and your hands are clearly visible in the frame so the judges can verify the track name, score, and your controller inputs. You will need to upload your footage to YouTube as 'unlisted' and submit the link via the official application page. This event is open to any South Korean resident of Korean nationality; minors are welcome to participate provided they meet the necessary requirements, such as parental consent.

The finals are set to take place on Saturday, May 23rd, on the main stage at '2026 PlayX4'. The bracket will feature four console qualifiers and eight arcade players battling it out in intense single-elimination matches. As an incentive, participants and on-site spectators will receive limited edition badges, with even more exclusive designs reserved for those who progress further. Finalists will also be awarded a special in-game title for the arcade version and a custom-made trophy for the console tournament.
