The Coma series, which once sent ripples through the scene as a homegrown horror hit, is finally making its grand return.

On the 20th, Devespresso Games announced via their official YouTube and Steam page that The Coma 3: Bloodlines (hereinafter The Coma 3) will launch on the 30th. This latest chapter promises to tie up all the loose ends of the Sehwa High School ghost stories and the mysteries of the shadow realm that have haunted us for 11 years. They've kept that signature comic-book art style intact, while diving deep into local folklore and occult traditions.

The Coma 3 pits a foundation determined to study the 'Coma'—that nightmarish mirror dimension—against a band of vigilantes trying to shut them down. You will step into the shoes of Youngho Choi, Mina Park, and Jihyun Song to unravel the secrets. The action has spilled out of the school and into the streets of Seoul, featuring a multi-ending system where your every choice steers the final outcome.

As you’d expect, the gameplay stays true to that frantic hide-and-seek formula. Since you can’t exactly stand your ground and fight, gathering clues while dodging shadow-clad dolls and mannequins is the name of the game. With four fresh bosses and tighter, more claustrophobic level designs, the tension during those chase sequences is set to be absolutely dialled up.

The Coma 3 will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, with full official support for the Korean language.
