Hearthstone has introduced the 'Restoration of Azeroth' class sets with Patch 35.4. This marks the game's first-ever dedicated class sets, specifically tailored for four classes: Druid, Hunter, Paladin, and Mage.

These class sets focus on specific gameplay strategies for each class, adding a significant number of new cards. This approach differs from traditional mini-sets, which typically add a small number of cards across all classes. Blizzard plans to release four such class sets three times a year.

The Druid class set focuses on healing Azeroth by restoring broken ecosystems through a patient, long-term approach. It is designed for longer games, combining spells and minions that yield powerful results over time. For example, 'Wrinkly Nature Communicator' provides rewards if you do not play any minions for a turn.

The Hunter class set focuses on protecting displaced animals and forming new bonds to help restore Azeroth. Using the 'Taming Pets' card, players can evolve their animal companions, turning them into increasingly powerful allies that become major threats in the late game.

The Paladin class set focuses on rebuilding communities and restoring order to a fractured world. The strategy involves buffing 'Silver Hand Recruits' to transform small minions into a formidable army. Players can flood the board with 'Call to Arms,' strengthen their forces with 'Courageous Blade,' and launch an offensive with 'Arator the Redeemer.'

The Mage class set is tasked with stabilizing 'Severed Leylines' and regaining control over volatile magic. New 'Leyline' spells that grow stronger over time have been added, and related cards are designed to amplify their power, reduce costs, or trigger multiple times, enabling efficient card management and long-term strategic planning.

Each individual 'Restoration of Azeroth' class set (Druid, Hunter, Paladin, Mage) can be purchased for 12,000 KRW, 1,000 Runestones, or 1,200 Gold. These cards can also be obtained by opening 'Cataclysm Packs' or through Arcane Dust crafting.
