Arc System Works Asia has announced that the official offline qualifiers for Korea in Arc World Tour 2026-2027, Arc System Works' global fighting game tournament, will be held as part of the SOOP Super Tournament 2026, hosted by SOOP. The event is set to take place from Saturday, June 6th to Sunday, June 7th, at the Jamsil DN Coliseum, with Guilty Gear -Strive- as the main title.

The SOOP Super Tournament 2026 is a comprehensive fighting game esports event. Alongside the official qualifiers for Arc World Tour 2026-2027, which features Guilty Gear -Strive- as its primary game, it will also host a Master Tier event for Tekken World Tour 2026, a 4-Star event for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, and a Challenger Tier event for 2XKO. The Arc World Tour qualifiers will be conducted as a Gold Plus Tier event for Guilty Gear -Strive-, with the winner earning advantageous qualifications for the Grand Finals held in the United States in the spring of 2027.

All matches of the tournament will be free to watch on-site and will be livestreamed in Korean via the SOOP platform. Arc System Works Asia has revealed details about booths that will offer offline sales of Guilty Gear -Strive- intellectual property (IP) merchandise and a game demo zone where attendees can experience their latest titles. The offline shop will feature related merchandise, including the Guilty Gear -Strive- Shin Kiske sling bag and Guilty Gear -Strive- Bridget keycap set, at discounted prices. Additionally, purchases of ₩10,000 or more will grant participants entry into a first-come, first-served raffle event.

In the game demo zone, attendees can try out the Korean version of the latest title in the Story of Seasons series, 'Story of Seasons: The Winds of Grand Bazaar', the newest entry in the Kunio-kun series, 'River City Melee: Battle Royal', and the zombie action game 'Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP'. Furthermore, players will have the opportunity to freely play various titles distributed by Arc System Works Asia, including 'Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-', which garnered significant interest from domestic fans upon its Korean localization announcement last year.

Arc World Tour 2026-2027 is Arc System Works' global fighting game tournament series, encompassing both online and offline events held worldwide, kicking off with EVO Japan 2026 in May 2026. Participating players can earn points and qualification slots for the Grand Finals by competing in official tournaments categorized by tiers: Platinum Plus, Platinum, Gold Plus, Gold, and Silver. Selected players will be invited to the Arc World Tour 2026-2027 Finals, held in the United States in the spring of 2027, to vie for the title of world's strongest.

The broadcast schedule for the tournament begins with the Guilty Gear -Strive- Pool qualifiers on Saturday, June 6th, starting at 5 PM. On Sunday, June 7th, the Guilty Gear -Strive- TOP 8 matches are scheduled to commence at 2 PM. All matches of the tournament will be livestreamed online via the official SOOP channels for Spirit Zero and STL.
