Pan Studio announced on the 2nd that it has updated its fantasy RPG, Duet Night Abyss, with a new version titled 'Rushing Stars'.

This 1.4 version, 'Rushing Stars', marks the largest content expansion since Duet Night Abyss's official launch. It introduces a wealth of new features including a main story, regions, characters, progression systems, and guild content, alongside special benefits for both new and returning players.

The newly unveiled main story unfolds in Bloomfield Station, within the city of Ice Lake. Players will board a train escorting a crucial prisoner, encountering new companions and the Forsaken Alliance, and engaging in battles against formidable enemy factions atop the speeding train. Accompanying this is the new region, 'Florientia Bloomfield Station', designed with a Victorian-era steampunk aesthetic. This area combines a grand station with an industrial district, creating a unique atmosphere. It boasts realistic visuals and intricate environmental details that set it apart from existing regions.

New characters are also being rolled out sequentially. On the 2nd, 'Flora', a close-combat character wielding special dolls, made her debut. On the 30th, 'Hilda', a fire-attribute character with a maid concept, will join the roster. Both characters are pivotal figures introduced alongside the new story. The protagonist also gains a new form: the dark-attribute Moonstone Hunter. Players can awaken this new attribute through story progression and freely switch between attributes to enjoy strategic combat, adapting to different situations.

A core feature of this update is the introduction of the 'Calamity Weapon' system. Calamity Weapons offer a new progression path that alters combat styles through exclusive skills and talent trees. Each weapon is imbued with unique abilities, expanding build possibilities. Related upgrade materials can be acquired through 'Deep Exploration', a new, challenging, and permanently available content mode.

The much-requested guild system is finally here. It includes dedicated guild chat channels, quests, shops, and progression systems. Immersive co-op content, 'The Stage: A Collaborative Performance', and a cosmetic sharing system, 'The Shining Display Case', have also been added. Furthermore, the game's usability and optimisation have been enhanced, with improvements to the early game experience, a streamlined tutorial, and the addition of an auto-attack feature for mobile.

To commemorate the update, various events are underway. Players can immediately receive a character selection chest and a weapon selection chest simply by logging in. Through event participation, players can additionally obtain 27 Brilliant Hourglasses, 3,600 Moonstones, a character selection ticket, limited costumes, and a variety of growth resources.

A Pan Studio representative stated, "'Rushing Stars' is the largest content update since our official launch, introducing the most new elements to date. With the expansion of core content, including new characters, stories, Calamity Weapons, and the guild system, we aim to provide a satisfying gameplay experience for all users, whether they are new, returning, or long-time players."
