NC has rolled out the 'PHOENIX' update for its MMORPG, 'Lineage M'. At the heart of this update is a significant reboot for the Elf class, bringing in a fresh batch of content and system improvements. For the Elf class, new 'Phoenix' skills have been added—Phoenix Arrow for ranged and Phoenix Blade for melee—alongside a Cyclone skill that summons a storm. The existing Triple Arrow has been changed to a passive skill, and Blood to Soul can now be set to auto-cast.

New regions and dungeons for adventure have also been unveiled. The new region, Hidden Barrier Forest, and the new dungeon, Flame Sanctuary, have opened their doors. Players can enter the new region via NPC Nerupa or a Barrier Forest Pass, then locate a Guardian to move to the dungeon. In the Flame Sanctuary, the Doppelganger raid takes place. The Void Temple has also undergone a major renewal, with the area where the boss monster Void Girutas appears now changed to a Combat Zone.

System improvements to assist player convenience have also been implemented. The ability to purchase shop gear with Adena, previously restricted to certain servers, has been expanded to the Legacy World. Additionally, a new Content Dashboard feature has been added, making it easier to check daily and weekly content progress. Along with this, a feature that increases the visibility of hostile Blood Pledges within the game has been introduced.

To celebrate the update, a total of seven coupons have been provided. Players can purchase a gift box in the in-game shop using Adena to obtain coupons for regular gear restoration and skill synthesis. Along with this, various coupons such as Special Rune Restoration, Special Shop Gear Restoration, Special Magic Doll Synthesis, Special Transformation Synthesis, and Special Relic Synthesis are provided sequentially as attendance rewards for logging into the game.
