Com2uS Holdings revealed on the 6th that it is rolling out an early access version of 'Pawpop Match' via KakaoTalk and KakaoPay. This move, ahead of the global launch slated for later this year, is clearly intended to gauge domestic interest and build a bit of brand recognition before the main event.

Developed by TwoBite's PentaPeak Studio, Pawpop Match is a match-3 puzzle game that tries to be as accessible as possible. For the KakaoTalk and KakaoPay iterations, the developer has trimmed the content to fit the platform's constraints, focusing squarely on the core puzzle-solving loop. Players collect thematic animal character images as they clear stages, eventually building their own personal album.

Through this early access phase, users can play Pawpop Match directly within the new 'KakaoTalk Gameplay' service. Simply tap the new game tab tucked away in the 'More' menu at the bottom right, and the game launches instantly without any tedious installation process. The same play-without-download convenience applies to the KakaoPay mini-games section.

Meanwhile, Com2uS Holdings intends to bring Pawpop Match to the global market in the third quarter, with pre-registrations for the major app stores expected to kick off in lockstep.
