Clouded Leopard Entertainment has pulled back the curtain on the second full remake in the series, Trails in the Sky the 2nd, following the studio's work on the debut title, the 1st.

First up, there is a brand-new fishing feature. This fishing system relies on the specific combination of rod and bait to determine your catch, with the added incentive of logging these aquatic trophies in a notebook for rewards. They are also introducing a 'Viewer Mode' for the shutterbugs among you. In this mode, you can freely place characters, tweak their outfits and poses, and choose the setting to capture the perfect scene.

We have also been introduced to the Bracer Guild receptionists who will be guiding the story. Aina Holden at the Rolent branch is a calm presence, always ready to offer Estelle some much-needed encouragement. Jean, the receptionist at the Ruan branch, brings a much more energetic vibe to the table, while Kirika Rouran at the Zeiss branch relies on sharp intuition to get the job done.

Over at the Grancel branch, Hernan balances a gentle temperament with impressive on-site command skills. Meanwhile, Senior Bracer Kurt Nardin focuses on putting new recruits through their paces. Karna provides support with an orbal gun and arts, while Glatz leads the charge as a frontline attacker wielding a greatsword.

For those picking up the physical or digital copies, the early purchase bonus includes original DLC costumes: 'NEO Bracer 2 Estelle' and 'NEO Jet-Black Fang Joshua'. Trails in the Sky the 2nd is slated for release on September 17 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Steam, with full Korean language support.
