NC IDS, the IT services subsidiary of NC, has rebranded as NC AX, pivoting to become a specialist in AI Transformation (AX). This change is intended to bolster the company's identity as an AX-focused firm and to sharpen its competitive edge in AI-driven business sectors.

Established in October 2024, NC AX was aimed at integrating AI technology into industrial fields and scaling commercial applications. This rebranding exercise is effectively cementing the company's position as an AX-centric enterprise.

NC AX plans to collaborate closely with NC AI, which holds the proprietary AI technology, to accelerate the AX initiatives across NC and its major affiliates. By merging the established development expertise of NC AX—spanning Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), business system development, platforms, and various applications—with the technical prowess of NC AI, the company expects to generate maximum synergy.

NC AX CEO Lee Jae-jin stated, "By leveraging the process improvement and application development expertise the company holds, NC AX will collaborate with NC AI to continuously expand the AX business area and strengthen related services."
