FOW GAMES announced on the 5th that it has officially launched the mobile MMORPG Kingdom 2: Blazing Battlefield. The new title aims to be a classic MMORPG experience, focusing on field hunting to nurture characters, whilst encouraging both cooperation and competition among players.

Kingdom 2 moves away from rigid class-based combat, opting instead for a system that allows players to freely mix and match races and weapons. Players can choose from three races—Human, Elf, or Belkan—and combine them with five weapon types, including one-handed swords, greatswords, bows, staves, and spears, to craft a unique combat style. Thanks to race-specific skills, the same weapon can yield entirely different strategic results.

The progression system also attempts to stand out. Players nurture their characters using runes, mana infusion, and artifacts crafted from materials gathered during field hunts. Even if an item enhancement fails, some gear remains intact, while destroyed equipment is converted into mana powder to be repurposed for further infusions. Most items obtained through hunting can be traded freely, and upon reaching a certain level, players can earn 'farming diamonds' to purchase store items.

The developer has also packed the game with guild-centric cooperative content. Through guild housing, players can benefit from building effects and guild research bonuses. The game offers guild raids for large-scale boss encounters and party dungeons for smaller groups to test their combat synergy. High-difficulty challenges, such as world bosses that appear at set times and the Infinite Tower, offer higher-tier rewards for those brave enough to tackle them.

Meanwhile, FOW GAMES is launching a variety of events to commemorate the official release. For the first 28 days, a ranking event will reward players based on server-level standings with items such as Legendary Summon Selectors. Over on the official Naver Cafe, the team will be gifting pet summon tickets to users who write the best gameplay guides by August 17th. Additionally, those who add the official KakaoTalk channel will receive growth items on a weekly basis for four weeks.
