Tickets have gone on sale for the Opening Night Live (ONL) show, the official precursor to Gamescom 2026, the world's largest gaming trade fair.

ONL is a game showcase where major AAA titles and updates, as well as launch information, are unveiled. Attendees can catch new trailers and gameplay footage, while developers share behind-the-scenes stories and development processes.

Last year's ONL was broadcast simultaneously across over 3,700 channels worldwide. It recorded a peak of 2.1 million concurrent viewers, and the cumulative VOD views exceeded 91.5 million.

Updates on titles such as Hollow Knight: Silksong, Silent Hill f, Black Myth: Zhong Kui, and Fallout Season 2 were featured. Monster Hunter producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Final Fantasy producer Naoki Yoshida also took the stage to announce a collaboration.

This year's ONL will begin on August 25 at 8:00 PM (CET), and tickets for the live event can be purchased on the official Gamescom website. Major game companies including Astragon, Capcom, Nintendo, Team17, Ubisoft, Xbox, and Krafton are participating.
