Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea has revealed details for 'Mask of Idris,' the expansion DLC for the dramatic exploration action RPG, Code Vein 2. This new content is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. The base game is set in a crumbling near-future, following the story of Revenants fighting against their apocalyptic fate.

The newly revealed expansion DLC is set in the 'Discarded World,' where the lingering spirits of timelines erased by history converge. Players will explore this realm with new characters and engage in battles to save the world. To access this content, players must reach the second ending of the base game and fulfill the requirement of progressing 'Valentin’s Request' to a specific point.

New characters include 'Liv Voda' and 'Lu Magmel.' Liv Voda is a watcher who monitored the rifts in spacetime, a combative individual who wandered the frontier out of restlessness. When her emotions heighten, her hair and eyes glow brightly. Lu Magmel is a Revenant girl encountered in the Discarded World who works to prevent the realm from expanding and offers a warning to the protagonist. Her relationship with 'Lu' from the base game will be revealed in the future.

Alongside the expansion DLC, a free version 2.0 update will be released. This allows players to explore the post-game world with their buddies. Additionally, the standard digital version is currently available on Steam at a discount of up to 43%.
